Alan Bonham has spent most of his time training others since qualifying as a Chartered Accountant. He began his career as a Director at Anderson’s Tutors Limited. From there, he joined Neville Russell as a Training manager before spending 16 years as a freelance lecturer and training consultant specialising in audit and accounting topics.

Most recently, Alan was Director of Training for SWAT Ltd where he was responsible for the development of SWAT’s national programme of CPD training. Alan is now working again as a freelance lecturer advising firms on their audit procedures and offering practical help in achieving compliance in a cost-effective manner. He also works with non-accountants and is the co-author of Smart Things to Know About Business Finance and Interpreting Company Reports for Dummies.
